We all know Idris Elba as a phenomenal actor who was even awarded the Golden Globe for his excellent acting skills. He has been a part of incredible movies like “Thor”, “Yardie” and “Avengers”. His roles in “Molly’s Game” and BBC series “Luther” are also highly acclaimed. The list of his achievements in this field is quite long and so, it is hard to write them all here.

But acting is not his only skill and talent. He has another talent which was hidden for most of the time but has now been revealed. Although this “hidden talent” was known to the people who are his biggest followers but still a good number of people were unaware of this. This skill is being a DJ and that too a professional one. He has been posting about his DJ gigs on Instagram and everyone is loving them.

Idris Elba is quite passionate about being a DJ and wants to take it to a good level. He even told in an interview that he wants to focus on his musical talent as much as he can even though he has achieved great heights in the acting industry. He has taken one step forward in this direction as he is getting ready to perform at Coachella Valley Arts and Music Festival in California as DJ Big Driis in April.

Apart from his upcoming gig at Coachella, he has done quite a few gigs as a DJ in the past as well. You might be familiar with the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle that happened in May 2018. Their wedding reception had a performance by Idris Elba as the DJ. By now, you might have got the idea of how talented this man is. He has now decided to make the best possible combination of his acting and DJ skills. This is turned into a reality by a new Netflix series “Turn Up Charlie” in which Elba would be playing a DJ. The series will start from March 15.

Just a little more wait and you all will be able to witness this multi-talented person show his hidden and not-so-hidden talents all at once. Idris Elba has always impressed everyone and we are sure he will continue to do so.
