When Lisa found herself stuck in a tough phase, she wasn’t ready to welcome any negativity. So, she decided to give out some positive vibes into the world as she believed someone might need them just like her!

Lisa’s act of kindness reached Ashley!

Ashley was out for some shopping at Target and found herself amidst the books. That’s when her hand reached out for a self-help book “Girl, Stop Apologizing”. She did not intend on reading it, but she grabbed it and thought it would be a good idea to give it a read.

On reaching back home, Ashley thought she can read a few pages, but before she could dive right into it, her dog interrupted with a loud bark. She rushed outside to see him and in a hurry, pushed the book aside.

Ashley noticed something strange after coming back. She found $5 on the floor and it shocked her. They had fallen from the book. It wasn’t the only surprise the book was carrying. There was a sweet note inside which Ashley shared on Twitter.

The words on the note were, “To the person who buys this book: I am having a tough day. I thought maybe I could brighten someone else’s with this little surprise. Go buy a coffee, donut, or a face mask. Practice some self-care today. Remember that you are loved. You are amazing. You are strong. Love, Lisa.”

This amazing gesture took Ashley by surprise. She kept reading the letter again and again!
It felt like a movie scene or a story she read on the internet. This toucher her!

This made her share the incident on the internet and tell people about this act of kindness. People expressed their emotions and wrote that how beautiful it is to do something like this for some stranger.

She shared it on Love What Matters and later said, “In that moment, I didn’t necessarily need the pick-me-up, but I feel obligated to share it, and I’m hearing back from people who did.” She felt she was fortunate to receive this and sharing it with others was the right thing to do.

The positivity spread all around through this deed and nothing can be more special!
People were in awe of Lisa who decided to write such wonderful words for a random person and keep it in a book with $5.

The amazing effect of Lisa’s kindness reached her and she went ahead to write a letter to Ashley to express her feelings. She sent it to her campus and did not reveal her address.

Lisa was not expecting such a love-filled response to her act. We guess it had to be that way!
