Born a triplet, Ivanka Danišová suffered from a rare condition known as Goldenhar Syndrome in which the full development of the parts of the face like ear, lip, soft palate, nose or the mandible is not witnessed. Dealing with syndromes is definitely not easy for the fight is making peace and embracing what you are born with. This stands true for Ivanka Danišová as well. Most of Ivanka’s life was spent in covering up the syndrome she had been born with along with the evolution of the need to hide it since the very beginning.

Belonging to Slovakia, Ivanka Danišová has not only fought against all odds for herself but aspires to provide a happy life to all those who are suffering from the Goldenhar Syndrome.

In Ivanka’s case, due to the syndrome, the right part of her face is not fully developed leaving her with an inability to hear from one ear. She suffers from heart arrhythmia and has also been diagnosed with Leukemia.

Her situation leads us into thinking that she might have given up on life and blamed her circumstances but she decided to be strong and not sympathize with herself. She began with her ‘Rainbow for Ivanka Campaign’ in order to raise awareness related to the Syndrome as this particular condition had been neglected for a considerable amount of time.

She posts her pictures on social media which are beautiful and her confidence is reflected through them. She tries to bring the topic of the Goldenhar Syndrome into the required limelight. Apart from this, Ivanka aims to fight for all those children suffering from this syndrome and also speaks about the solution, treatment as well as medical science related to it.

A family is the pillar of strength and Ivanka’s triplet sisters are a perfect example of the same who have helped her stay strong and keep going by standing right beside her in all circumstances.
