Who can ever forget those glitzy prom dances in school, they brought a wind of excitement with them among the students!

But for those who couldn’t get a date for the event were a little disappointed and had to spend the night alone while their batch mates had a fun night dancing. It is never easy to the odd one out and for a teenager, it can get embarrassing.

Kaylah Bell, 17, from California, USA, was fortunate in this case as what she expected to be a lonely night turned into a one filled with love! The entire credit for this goes to her grandad Alvin Hackett, 67, who accompanied her granddaughter to her prom.

She looked gorgeous in a beautiful gown and a pink-purple cape completed her look. Her aunt suggested a diamond belt that will go along with it and yes, it perfectly matched her outfit and the occasion.

Her grandad looked equally good by her side wearing a nice-fit suit coordinating the colors with Kaylah. How incredible is that!

She tweeted the beautiful moment, “My papa knew I didn’t have a date to my prom so he matched me!!!!!!!!”

People were leaving the sweetest comments on this and appreciating her grandad for being such a sport! He deserves it. One comment read, “This is what they call father love and unending admiration of his little baby… This is something my dad will do too.”

Kaylah couldn’t be more grateful for her grandad and his gesture! She later said in an interview that she gets emotional every time she thinks of that moment. She feels blessed to have him.
