Inner Peace Is About Accepting And Embracing

Brain Food April, 19, 2024

What more beautiful can be than able to breathe without feeling sad, angry, anxious, or depressed? One can surely not control how others feel but can surely control how one feels and how one reacts to others. Inner peace is all about the journey and not wasting energy on thinking about the results.

One can feel at peace when they are closer to nature and away from the materialistic world. Closer to nature is closer to oneself. Eating healthy and exercising is one way of getting closer to oneself and nature. The closer the person is to nature the closer he is with himself. Daily meditating is another and very important way of getting to know yourself.

Not only it helps you to get to know yourself but it helps you in concentrating. Watching sunrise, sunsets, just sitting in peace in the nature is effective. Our inner peace gets compromised the day we start living by the choices dictated by society. We forget to live when we try to live by the rules and standards set by society.

Peace surely means having control over your emotions and the first step towards it is discipline and being true to yourself. Living a life without pressure from others and your regrets is called living a peaceful life. Living a peaceful life in the countryside rather than a hectic life in a big fancy home is more valuable. Peace is when we realize that we should help without expecting anything in the return.

One has to choose a difficult path to find inner peace. The start sure seems tough with a lot of obstacles but once you start walking on it there is no turning back. There surely will be easy options and ways of achieving the same thing. But the right way is the right way. One has to make sure they do not get distracted by the materialistic things in their journey towards peace. The journey is worth all the hardships and efforts put in by you.

Instantly reacting to hardships and situations is normal, every other person is doing the same. But controlling your emotions is what makes you different from people not at peace. Being calm amidst the storms of situations is when one finds inner peace. Life is all about control over your emotions.

Surely there will be hard moments, and how you react to them is what will decide where you are going. If you control your emotions, then you are surely going towards a journey of inner peace. Being calm and composed in difficult situations will take you closer to inner peace. It is about appreciating and accepting your flaws. One who embraces their imperfections, their mistakes, and the past is the one closer to inner peace. Embrace yourself.
